I like Smarties, even though they have been matte since having their radioactive colourings replaced with food-related ones. The edible colourings actually taste a lot nicer in my view, and surely this new seaweed flavour will be no exception. But what about the tubes? Why was it necessary to replace the old tubes with their easily-losable plastic lids, much loved of many a toddler-parent, with hexagonal self-lidded ones, in 2005?
I don’t know about “fresh and interesting”- they get a lot more bashed up in your hand luggage. If Eskimos had built hexagonal igloos, that wouldn’t have worked either.
And bring back Top of the Pops!!
