This new Microsoft idea seems pretty good to me. Very interesting. Maybe they are taking Hugh Macleod’s advice now?
As usual, I am only an amateur expert etc, but standing in line at Neiman Marcus Last Call again today, it occurred to me that people on a low day rate do not mind inconveniencing themselves quite a lot for the sake of saving money. Other people will pay a lot more for a better service that goes quicker. There has to be space for what Microsoft is doing, and I am most encouraged by the way they have apparently switched from trying to force us all to do things we hate towards actually making it worth our while. Bodes well for the general future of the species.
